A coordinated movement on the right to erect arbitrary spending caps modeled on Colorado's failed TABOR has suffered a setback in Maine, where a judge ruled that petitioners failed to submit enough signatures by the proper deadline. The Maine Citizen Leadership Fund and its allies that are spearheading the opposition campaign issued a press release today making it clear that they will continue to educate the public in Maine about the danger of attempting to replicate Colorado's failed experiment.
