Looks like it's a bad idea to play "Let's Make a Deal" with Mitt Romney. The Massachusetts Governor vetoed the employer assessment this afternoon, a move that was expected to happen, but is still disappointing. The bill that passed the legislature was lopsided and imperfect, which is what happens when bills result from three years of negotiations. But the bill that passed was a far cry better than a bill that expands health care virtually exclusively through an individual mandate. John McDonough and Health Care for All in Massachusetts are calling for the legislature to overturn this veto and seven others from the bill.
