Former Oregon Governor (and emergency room physician) John Kitzhaber was toying earlier this year with running again for Governor. He has now moved on to launching the Archimedes Movement, an organization that seeks to start by reforming Oregon's health care system significantly. The next step is to use Oregon's success to leverage the nation to follow. BlueOregon now reports that Archimedes is ramping up, with a public meeting in Portland, OR on Sunday with Governor Kitzhaber and with Joe Trippi to kickoff Archimedes. For details, check out the Archimedes Event page.
